There is no perfect camera for all shooting needs and with most cameras there is some trade-off in performance, features and image quality.
For example, a high-end camera will look more refined than a low-end camera, even though the image quality will be similar. As well as the visual quality, some cameras are also best suited to high-quality video shooting like a GoPro.
What are the most expensive cameras and lenses?
At the moment there are three camera types that are available at a premium price. The Ricoh GR and the Canon EOS.
Ricoh GR (above) – The Ricoh GR is an entry level camera aimed at beginners. Available in silver, gold and black model, it features 16 megapixels CMOS sensor and a resolution of just 1.44-inches.
Canon EOS (above) – The Canon EOS is the most affordable of the three and most often seen used for video. The camera has a resolution of 25 megapixels (2560×1440 pixel) and is available in black or silver body – though most of the time, the camera is found in dark brown or black body colour.
What camera does a professional need?
Professional photographers also need a camera with a resolution of 10 megapixel, so that you can capture enough detail with a wide angle lens without the camera getting out of focus.
These cameras have been made to give amazing image, but if you want to capture your subjects with enough detail for detailed photographs, you need to use a high-quality lens with high aperture for a DSLR to work. However, most DSLR lenses are not made for video due to the size of the sensor.
Why use a DSLR if you can’t afford one?
The only time you don’t need a DSLR is when you film a wedding or special event. You can easily fit a DSLR to a wedding dress or you can make it smaller if you want a smaller camera.
If you are looking for the perfect camera for video recording, you can get them in a range of price ranges.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark III is the camera to choose. It has a resolution of 10 megapixels, a very compact size and weighs just 13 ounces. In the price range of $2500-3500.
As well as this, you can also buy a 5D Mark II – an upgrade from the prior version
